Our Story
For more than 25 years, Nicole has been visiting Portugal frequently, in particular Portimão over the last 15 years.

Nicole’s enthusiastic, straight on and hands on mentality (what you see is what you get), makes Puzzletulip a logical choice as partner in real estate investments. With her experience in the construction industry, materials and tools, Nicole mastered the art of project development and interior design in Belgium and the Netherlands. By coincidence Nicole came across Portimão and soon this beautiful town felt like home. Nicole lost her heart in the way of life, the people, the food and wine and the Portuguese culture and hospitality.

In 2003 she started with several investments in real estate (as rental – vacation property) which was a huge success. When she finished the rental branche, she decided to follow her heart and this turned into a very logical next step: She started Puzzletulip Lda with main activity investments and reconstructions in properties in Portimão and the surroundings.

Today Puzzletulip is known for combining experience with the team throughout Portimão to develop a wide range of real estate projects (villa’s, palace’s, town houses, fisher houses, apartments, etc.).
If you walk through the city, sometimes you can spot (Nicole running from project to project) and see the positive results of Puzzletulip’s work. Many locals and tourists agree that Puzzletulip makes Portimão more beautiful and besides that Puzzletulip is continuously giving Portimão an economic booster to the local industry in every aspect!

Puzzletulip keeps on improving the quality of her properties, the teams (selected carefully) and the materials Nicole works, are of the highest standards. Nicole is proud that her team expanded since the Winter 2021 with her 2 daughters, Fleau & Pleuntje, Mastered in Marketing and Real Estate. Fleau & Pleuntje continuously take care of the process of making PuzzleTulip more digital and visible online. For example the creation of this new website is one of the results.
